Things I've written in Perl
- fetchnews - a set of scripts to handle a local news spool without any of that innd stuff.
- logprocess - an early-stage way to keep my syslogs in some sort of order. I wouldn't need it if syslogd could handle process names.
- pop-pull and cursepop - pop-pull is a command-line (also callable by cron) pop fetcher, and cursepop is a curses-based version of it that logs its mail fetches to the given TTY. The handling of oddly-formatted From lines is fairly poor.
- smsmail - a simple way to write SMSs to a 'properly' formatted mailbox file. Rather biased towards my personal setup, but not hard to change.
